From The Nwachuku Family Tribute to our special Daddy Grp Capt Amanyeiwe was a neighbor turned Daddy to my family. He was the chairman of the LSDPC residents' association while I was the secretary several years ago. Serving the Estate together made me know the kind of person he was. He was a lover of peace, very caring, humane, focused and honest. We noted more his godly, forthright, generous and disciplined nature after he retired home to Olona. We became family when he realised that my husband is Ibo and they shared some values and opinions generally about life. Daddy as my husband and I used to call him would always send us pork meat, fruits and vegetables from his farm in the village whenever he found anyone coming to Lagos. He was always prayerful and had such a strong personality! We saw him take his ill health in his strike. He had absolute faith in God and battled the sickness with equanimity and patience. Daddy was a happy, loving and proud family man. We learnt so much from you Daddy! We have missed you and will continue to do so. Take on your deserved rest, till we meet to part no more.
